Mo's Challenge # 29

Something for the Guys

Peggy's challenge for the DT (and you, too!) was to make a masculine card using one of Mo's Fabulous images.
I know many have a hard time with masculine cards, but I love making them! I love the earthy colors and the stripes and plaids that are perfect for men. I've chosen to make mine for a "tween-ager". It's hard to find  images for that age group, but this one fills the bill nicely. Video games are such a big part of the lives of today's boys. Mo has several other suitable images for the men and boys in our lives. Check out her store!

He's colored using Copics and Prismacolor pencils, of course. The DP is from Basic Grey, and the Rust, Chocolate, and Artichoke CS is from SU!. The chipboard asterisks were made using Cuttlebug dies, as was the chipboard ribbon slide. The sentiment, stamped in Really Rust, is from Hero Arts. The grosgrain ribbon is from Ribbons & Bows, Oh My. They have great quality ribbon and often have wonderful sales.

So get busy and create something wonderful for the man (or men!) in your life, then come on over and share it in Mo's Challenge!

Struttin'!

Here's another card with a masculine theme.
This is a card I made for my husband's 69th birthday. This great  image is from a coloring book site.
I've used Basic Grey DP, and SU!  Pumpkin, Garden Green, and Chocolate CS.
The inside says," Happy Birthday, you old rooster! With love from the old biddy."
