Mo's Challenge # 25

Happy Easter!

We have a new hostess for the month of April! Peggy Marsh has asked the DT to use just pastels for this week's challenge. I needed a few more Easter cards, so I chose to use Mo's "Savannah on Easter". I think this is just the cutest image! Gotta love those bloomers!

I just got an order in from All That Scraps, and it included the two new 6" x 6" paper pads from Basic Grey. I used a paper from the "Kioshi" collection along with SU!'s Groovy Guava, Sage Shadow, Barely Banana, Blush Blossom, and Pale Plum. These are almost all of pastels in the DP. The plum panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. Savannah is colored with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, and cut out using Nesties. A Martha Stewart punch finishes off the right edge of the green panel, which is trimmed with a narrow peach satin ribbon, Prima daisies and tiny white roses. Some pale yellow and lavender cabochons balance the design.

Easter Eggs

While I'm in a pastel Easter mood, I'd like to show you these pretty eggs. Believe it or not, they have not been colored! They are straight  from my daughter's flock of  chickens. They are part Auracana and are called "Easter Eggers" because they lay eggs of pale blue, green and pink. 
The basket of eggs is being watched over by one of my "Muffy" bears who is all dressed up as the Easter Bunny!
