Feeling Fowl!
This is a digital image from a coloring book site that I go to often for unusual, different images. I saw these chickens and just had to print it off and color them! I had a difficult time coloring the feathers with Copics. If I do it again, I think I'll use my Prismacolor pencils with OMS. This card will probably go to my daughter for her birthday. She raises chickens for their eggs, and she really loves it. She calls them her "girls.
I think it would make a good Mother's Day card, too. The inside could say, "Happy Mother's Day from your brood!".
The Basic Grey DP is from the "Origins" collection, which is all in shades of browns, yellows, and greens.
The SU! card stock is Marigold, Banana, Chocolate, and Moss.
The punches are Martha Stewart's leaf and branch. The sweet little yellow roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. You can't beat their selection, or their prices! Their shipping is reasonable, too.
I picked up the cotton lace at Joann's and the brown gingham is SU!. The gathered yellow gingham is from Reasonable Ribbons. I bought it in about six colors when I saw it, and wish I'd bought it in every color they had!
