Avast, Ye Brigands!

Mo's Pirates!

Mo's new pirate images are wonderful! It's so much fun to merge them in different ways.
Here are two I did recently. One uses Captain Hugh, and the other uses Mate Kate. Both are paired with  images from the accessories set, which comes with the barrels, treasure chest, map, parrot, stand, and palm tree. The compass rose is clip art that I found in Google.

I bought the gold coins on the Captain Hugh card in Walmart when they still had a sewing section. They were sewn onto a length of decorative fringe. I fashioned the eye patch with black CS and narrow ribbon. I didn't have any black, so I colored it with a black Copic marker. The Hero Arts sentiment on the patch was stamped with Versa Mark and heat embossed with detail gold EP.
I made the "plank" paper by streaking Caramel CS with various shades of brown ink pads. I drew on the lines and nails with a Spica Multiliner pen. The other SU! CS is Real Red and Pacific Point blue.
The inside says, "Wishing you a birthday full of wonderful memories to treasure!"

I used a lot of rhinestones on Kate's card, and
a tiny key charm to "unlock" her treasure chest.
The CS is SU!'s Summer Sun, Brilliant Blue, Pacific Point, and Real Red. I used a scrap of Basic Grey DP along the bottom, cut to resemble waves.
The digital sentiment  is part of a free digital set at Paper Garden Project. I omitted "Hello" from it before printing it in red.
Inside: "I'm so fortunate to have discovered such a great friend. I treasure our friendship."
