In Keegan's Memory
Our hearts are broken. Our youngest son's friend and best man at his recent wedding lost his battle with Hodgkin's disease a few days ago. He had almost completed his chemo therapy and was to be pronounced cancer-free, when he suffered a severe reaction to one of the drugs. He was placed on a ventilator and put into a medically-induced coma in the hope that his lungs would recover. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be, and he died shortly after his family and friends got to say their final goodbyes. He was just 31 years old.
These are the cards I made to send to his family and girlfriend.
He had been planning on proposing to her when he was done with his treatments.
Thanks for stopping by.
Elaine

Oh Elaine...how very sorry I am for the loss of your young friend. His death hits a little too close to home for me. My oldest son had Hodgkin's many years ago...thankfully he is now cancer-free. And I am so blessed to have him in my life. Life is so precious and far, far to short sometimes. Your cards are absolutely stunning. Thanks for reminding me what's really important in life...those we know and love! Hugs. Pat
These are beautiful cards, Elaine. How very sad, and unnerving to me because I have a nephew who is almost done with treatments for the same thing. I'm so sorry for this family and for your son's loss as well.
