Mo's Challenge #77

How Does Your Garden Grow?

That's The theme that Dorcas, our hostess for this week has given us for inspiration.

I've used "Penelope's Party Wagon." Isn't this an adorable image?!
I'm a real 'saver' and have been accumulating pieces of ribbon that aren't long enough to make a bow, but are too long to toss. The ribbon flowers were made by running a basting stitch along one side of a 5" or 6" length of ribbon, then gathering it and stitching it in place. They were fairly quick and very easy to make, and I think they're cute!

Images: "Penelope's Party Wagon" From Mo's Digital Pencil, Computer-generated sentiment

Tools: Copics, Cuttlebug with Die-Namics Dizzy border die, Needle and thread

Papers: SU! Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo, Neenah smooth white, Cosmo Cricket DP

Embellishments: Pearl cabochons, Satin leaf ribbon, Hand-made flowers

I have two other cards that are not in the Challenge theme.
Beach Bum

Can you tell I like working with bright colors?! This card uses Mo's new image "Little Umbrella."
I just love her attitude!
I've had this plastic blister pack, which originally held some small embellishments, kicking around my little craft closet for what seems like ages. I'd pick it up every time I was straightening up and debate whether or not I should scrap it, but always ended up keeping it. Now I know why! It was the perfect size to use with this image as a shaker card. The sand and shells inside are from our last trip to Hawaii.

Image: "Little Umbrella" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Starfish and Sea Weed from High Hopes Stamps

Tools: Copics, Tacky tape, Blister pack

Papers: SU! Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Barely Banana, Neenah smooth white

Embellishments: Ribbon, Shell brads, Flat braid, Drink charm, Hawaiian beach sand and shells

 Birthdays Blow!

My last card for today uses an image from Sassy Cheryl. It was a freebie called "Bubble Blower" , and you can find her here. There is a similar image called "Bubblegum Disaster" that you might like. It's basically the same image after the bubble has burst.
