Windows on the World

Come Out and Play!

I just love Mo's new images! The main image of the cat in the window is called "Alli Wants In". I printed it out twice, colored all of one image and just the drapes in the second. I cut out the whole image and the drapes and placed  the drapes on top using mounting foam.
I used Basic Grey DP for the wall papers and SU! Very Vanilla for the moldings. I used an embossing tool to give the molding some dimension.
The floor was done by streaking Creamy Caramel CS with ink pads in several shades of brown, then drawing the lines with a micro pen.
I adhered the window onto the card front, then positioned all the other elements using more mounting tape. The plant was made using leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I really like how this card turned out!
The inside says, "I can't wait for you to come out and play!"

In this picture you get a better idea of the layering.

Images:"Alli Wants In" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Bronte from Mo's "I Dunno",  Teapot(free!) from KLM stamps, Hurricane lamp from Digi Doodles Shop, Clay Pot and Shelves(?)

Card stock: SU! Very Vanilla, Creamy Caramel, and Riding Hood Red
Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Tools: Copics, Embossing stylus, Mounting tape, Cuttlebug and Nestie Label die, Micro pen, Various brown ink pads
Embellishments: Leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts, Grosgrain ribbon

Jack Waiting

This card uses "Jack Waiting" from Mo's Digital Pencil and  the birch tree is from Eat Cake Graphics. An actual stamp! Imagine that! An Xacto knife was used to cut out the window panes, and the stamped tree image was placed behind it using mounting tape. I kept this very simple.
The sentiment is computer-generated.

Card stock: SU! Sage Shadow and Cool Caribbean, PTI White
Patterned paper, Basic Grey Kioshi
Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencils, Cuttlebug with embossing folder, Xacto knife
Embellishments: Brads

I hope you like these as much as I enjoyed making them! Thanks for visiting!
