Mo's Challenge #36

Horsin' Around!

Sheila is our hostess for the month of June, and  her challenge for us this week is to use dry embossing with one of Mo's images. This should be and easy one, so we're hoping to see a lot of wonderful cards and projects!
I used "Shire". Don't all little girls love horses?
Our daughter is sending this as a 'thank you' to the woman from whom she bought our granddaughter's new horse. Her last horse, Wing Commander Stonewall's Son, whose nickname was Toy, had to be put down due to an incurable illness. This new one is a liver chestnut Morgan with the registered name of  Old Oak So Elegant. The breeder called her Oakley, but our granddaughter calls her Annie.
Next week I'll have pictures of her riding saddle seat on Annie in their first show together. She pinned fifth as they're still getting used to each other.

Card stock: SU! Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip, PTI White
Patterned paper: Basic Grey Capella
Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencils, Cuttlebug with embossing folders, SU! Photo Corner punch, Martha Stewart Branch and Leaf punches
Embellishments: Flowers, Pearl cabochons, Cotton lace, Grosgrain ribbon

I made this horse card, too, so that she could choose the one she liked best. (She chose the Mo, of course!) This stamp is from Lili of the Valley. I bought several of their stamps when I first came across them, but haven't used many of them yet. They're on my "things to do" list for this summer!

Card stock: SU! Cranberry Crisp, Bazzil Textured Moch Divine
Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencils, Cuttlebug with embossing folder, Slice and Vintage Findings design card, Martha Stewart Branch punch
Embellishments: Prima flowers, Gold cabochons

Thanks for visiting! Let's see all those great embossed cards!
