Warm Wishes
For Mo's Challenge our hostess for the month, Cathy Edgar, has asked us to use blue, brown , and one neutral for our projects this week. I went through my paper stash for some inspiration, and was surprised at how many designs I had that would have worked! I settled on these SU! textured papers from the Parisian Breeze collection. I think they're perfect teamed with SU! Blue Bayou and Chocolate Chip CS.
The colors also work well for this image from Mo's Digital Pencil called "Miki's Puppies". As always, I've colored it with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I did the "Out-of-the Box" technique by hand, because I didn't have the right size Nestie. I added a bit of Lace Stickles for the snow, and I've actually managed to take a photo that shows the shine a little! Hooray for me!
The sentiment on the oval punches is from PrintWorks. A few blue cabochons and a bow, and it was done.
Meet Tulu, another of my 15" porcelain dolls from Linda Mason's series, "American Diary Dolls". She's a little Inuit girl from Alaska holding her pet baby seal. Isn't she the cutest?
I hope you'll enter the challenge this week. I'd love to see what you can find in your paper stash!
Thanks for stopping in!
Elaine
