So Sketchy!

Mo's Challenge #97

The challenge Iulia, our hostess, has for us this week is to follow a sketch. I love sketch challenges. They take most of the guess work out of putting a card together.

I've used  Mo's "Nesto" for this card. Isn't he a hoot?! Mo does such a wonderful job of capturing kids playing and using their fertile imaginations! With a pail on your head, you can be anything!

Images: "Nesto" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Seashells by Guy Gordon from Making Our Mark, Sandcastle (unknown source)

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Cuttlebug with Nesties and Embossing folder, Oval Punch, Mounting tape

Papers: SU! Only Orange, Garden Green, Neenah smooth white, Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket DP

Here's Iulia's great sketch!

It's your turn! Grab one of Mo's images and use this sketch to create a card to enter in Mo's Challenge!

See you there!
Elaine

Hi, Elaine! Hope you are fine sweetie and your house hasn't suffered any damage.
Yes, I agree, Mo has a special gift of capturing kids' attitudes and behaviour. This is one adorable little fellow, love his round belly and you colored him so beautifully. Love the extra shells and the sand castle- really lovely and fun summer card!
Have a happy day hun!
Hugs, Iulia

Hi Elaine...first, let me say that I'm so relieved that Irene pretty much left you and your family alone!! And secondly...your card just makes me giggle!! My daughter used to walk around with a bucket on her head when she was little...I have no idea why...but it was pretty hysterical...I'm sure she was playing make believe...but never let us in on her "fantasy". Your coloring is gorgeous...as always! And I really like the papers you used for this perfect "boy" card! Big hugs. Pat

Ohhh, my grandbabies tiptoe everywhere, just like Nesto in this adorable image. Love your sweet card...beautifully colored and embellished. Thanks for sharing your talent and also your kind words on my humble little blog. :) xoxo
