Tag! You're It!
Our challenge from our hostess, Dawn, this week is to make a tag and use our favorite embellishments. I consider myself 'tag challenged' as I can never seem to place them on a card so that they look as if they belong. They always appear to be an after-thought!
Anyway, here's my attempt, and it actually doesn't look too bad. LOL!
The image is one of a series Mo has done of little girls and fruit. They are all just irresistible!
I made the tag using oval dies, and the 'seeds' are actually petals from a punched flower. I sanded the CS to rough it up and give it a little texture. The inside of the tag says, "Just for You."
A few of my favorite embellishments are gingham ribbon, punched borders, charms and pearls! Of course, I love flowers and brads, too, but enough is enough, or maybe too much in this case!
Image: "Watermelon Girl" from Mo's Digital Pencil
Tools: Copics, Mounting tape, Wire, Martha Stewart border punch, Cuttlebug with oval Nesties
Papers: SU! Gable Green, Garden Green, Green Galore, and Groovy Guava, Neenah smooth white,Cosmo Cricket DP
Embellishments: Wired gingham ribbon, Stitched grosgrain ribbon, Love charm, Beads, Pearl cabochons
So tag up and join us in Mo's Challenge for a chance to win one of her wonderful digital images!
