Having Fun!

It's Summer Vacation !

We got out of school last Thursday, and I'm looking forward to having more time to play! I've used most of my Mo images, but I have so many by other artists that I've never even printed out! I'm making it my mission to make cards with some of them this summer.

This image is from Dustin Pike. Don't you love him....ferocious and cute at the same time! I thought he should be breathing fire, so I added the swirls.

The inside says, "Baby, you can always light my fire! Happy Anniversary!"

Image: From Dustin Pike, Word stamp from SU!

Tools: Copics, Spica pen, Black ink, Cuttlebug with Marianne die, Martha Stewart Border punch, Mounting tape

Papers: SU! Gable Green, Cool Caribbean, Neenah smooth white, Bazzill textured lavender, Basic Grey Yoshi DP

Embellishments: Grosgrain ribbon, Pearl cabochons

Belated Birthday

Here's one using an image from Rick St. Dennis.  Love the flower in his hat!

The inside says, "Sorry this was a little slow getting to you!"

Images: Turtle from Rick St. Dennis, Sentiment from an old SU! set, "Button Bear"

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Cuttlebug with Spellbinder die, Martha Stewart Branch border and punch, Nellie Snellen embossing leaf punch set

Papers: SU! Summer Sun , Gable Green, Green Galore, Neenah smooth white, Basic Grey DP

Embellishments: Prima daisies, Brads

"I'm  Keeping This!"

That's what our grandson said when he opened this on this 11th birthday! He's into WWII and all things military. His mother even painted one wall of his room in a camouflage pattern!
The army insignia was printed on the computer, cut out and glued to the metal disc, then topped with an acrylic  bubble sticker.  I didn't have any gold stars, so I pressed them into a VersaMark pad, then into gold embossing powder, and heated it. Works great!

Inside it says, "And enjoy your birthday!"

Image: Coloring book page (?), Computer-generated insignia and sentiment

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Gold EP, Mounting tape, Distressing tool

Papers: SU! Always Artichoke, Sage Shadow, and Chocolate Chip, Neenah smooth white, and Camouflage DP (from Jo-Ann's)
Embellishments: Star brads, Metal disc

I've entered this in the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge...Masculine

Thanks for looking!
