An Assortment

Keeping Busy!

I've had time recently to make a few cards with some of my digital images that aren't Mo's. I never get tired of working with her designs, but it's good to branch out once in a while.

So Sassy!

This first card uses one of Sassy Cheryl's little girls. I've always thought this one was cute, so when Cheryl had a sale recently, I grabbed this one and a few others.

My team mate, Dorcas, makes a lot of 'patchwork' backgrounds for her cards, and I love the look. I also love using up scraps of my DP, although my pile never seems to decrease by much! I can't imagine what it does behind my back!

I think Cheryl's fun designs are all a little wonky, so I did a bit of wonky stitching to go along with the look. I found it's not as easy as it seems to get it right. I need more practice!

Images: "That's One Big Flower!" from Sassy Cheryl's, Sentiment stamp by PrintWorks

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Sewing Machine, Tacky Tape

Papers: SU! Poppy Parade, Summer Sun, Neenah smooth white, Assorted DP

Embellishments: Gingham ribbon, Daisy trim, Silk leaves

Vine Wreaths

These two cards use  a very pretty image from Nana Vic called "Tweet Wreath".  It's a good design for all kinds of cards for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and even sympathy! I did a lot of fussy cutting on these, but I like the look.

That's it for now! Thanks for stopping by!

Elaine, what fabulous cards from the wonky patchwork SC card to these gorgeous cut out wreath cards. So glad you popped in at SC's and let us know.

Elaine, both your cards are stunning and I have to agree with you that that 'Tweet Wreath' digital stamp is so versatile. A huge credit to you for cutting out the wreath so that you could then add another dimension to your cards. Beautiful colouring on them both and your added elements are so pretty. Thank you for sharing the link with me. *Hugs* Nana Vic
